12. Key qualifications:

In 1980-1996 Yuri Hohlov lectured mathematics, mathematical physics and mathematical modelling at Kazan and Donetsk State Universities, as well as in leading universities and research centres in Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

In addition to his extensive academic experience, Yuri Hohlov has vast practical experience in developing and managing large information systems for science and industry: he designed large-scale ICT programmes and projects at national, regional and institutional levels; consulting and evaluating programmes and projects at an international level in the field of fundamental science, ICT, and librarianship; organising and conducting a number of national and international congresses, conferences and workshops in the field of mathematics, information management, ICT and the Information Society development.

His efforts ensured a broad partnership with international organisations, private sector companies, civil society organisations, research and educational institutions, renowned individual experts in Russia and abroad.

Yuri Hohlov is currently Editor-in-Chief of the electronic Russian Digital Libraries Journal and the Information Society Journal (Russia).
